Download in Advance
We understand that downloading the app right before the Cast is tempting, but fight the urge! We recommend that you download the app a few days in advance on the device you will use for the Cast.
Apple or Android Mobile Devices: Scroll down to ‘Zoom Mobile Apps’ to text yourself the link, or select to download from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Laptop or Desktop: Click the download button under ‘Zoom Client for Meetings.’
Test in Advance
We may not know you, but since you're on this page we already like you. Testing in advance is the best way to learn the participant Cast controls, especially if you're new to Casting. So take your time and get used to the different features you will use during the Cast. Click the link below and then click 'Join.'

Controls and features available to use during a Cast:
Unmute/Mute Video - click the video icon on the bottom left of your screen to unmute or mute your video. When your video is muted, you will see a red line through the icon with 'Start Video' below. When your video is unmuted the red line goes away and 'Stop Video' will be below.
Chat - use the chat box to type your questions to the Genie or moderator (if one is on the Cast) or talk with other participants on the Cast (publicly and privately).
Raise Hand - click on the 'Participants' icon and then click 'Raise Hand' - this notifies the Genie that you would like to ask your question live.
Speaker View - this is the default view that focuses on the active speaker, with small participant video thumbnails off to the side.
Gallery View - this will let you see up to 25 participants at once. If a Cast has more participants, use the left and right arrows that appear on the screen to see everyone else. Click the 'Speaker View' button at the top right to change back to the default view.
