The main goal of a Cast is for the Genie and the participants to feel as if they are in the same room. For this to happen, we need to maximize Genie and participant interaction. The equipment and placement of that equipment are crucial for a successful Cast.
There are several factors to consider:
- How many people will be in the same room?
- What is the layout of the room?
- Do you need to hire an AV company to be onsite?
We're here to help! Based on our experience we estimated the number of participants for each group size. We also provide equipment recommendations that best suit those particular group sizes.
Small to Medium Group (1 to 30 people)
*If you're using a projection screen and the room does not have built-in speakers available, we recommend purchasing the Bose Companion 2 Series III speakers.
Large Group (about 31 people or more)
For this size group you will most likely need an onsite AV company.
Large group Casts need multiple microphones to create great interaction for the group, and to operate multiple microphones at once a soundboard is required. We highly recommend that the microphones each have a mute button to avoid unwanted feedback/noise.
